A mysterious race said to live far beyond the Sardonyx Sea, on placid islands of glass found within the Crystalsea. Legends tell that they are tall and lithe, their skin covered with a soft vellus that ranges in color from a hearty pink to a cool blue. Large, pointed ears frame their long, round faces. They move lightly and gracefully and their eyes, red as the sun setting over the frigid waters of the Sardonyx Sea, rarely blink. Their gowns are simple and subtly sheer, while their jewelry is fashioned from the white coral that grows beneath their crystalline waters. Their language is said to be more like song than speech. The Luxenfae are ruled by their Prophet-Queen who it is claimed has been around since the days of the Heroes. Encounters with the Luxenfae are exceedingly rare, as they seldom leave their chromatic home. They have inspired many myths in the Far North, where they are known as elves and said to grant the viewer untold wealth. Sightings of their kaleidoscope-like ships are often told by intrepid aeroship pilots who have braved the treacherous winds of the Crystalsea.
