The Gods of Heaven, also known as the Telohim, were creatures born of the union between the Rising Sun and the Blue Moon. Clad in white and gold, these glorious beings walked amongst the Fathers of Men ages ago and taught them the secrets of shaping the light elements, of summoning seraphs, of working stones and metals, and the movements of the stars and planets. In time, conflicts arose between the Gods of Heaven and the Gods of Hell, which spiraled into a devastating war that ravaged the earth. Caught in the middle of this war were the Fathers of Men, some siding with the heavenly Gods and some with the Gods of Hell. The Alchemist, a sorcerer living in the ancient city of Valvalis, discovered the ability to awaken the true power of Man and in turn created weapons capable of defeating the Gods. With this power, he formed an army of Heroes who wielded the devastating Godbreakers and sealed the Gods of Heaven in fiery prisons among the Firmament.
