THE ELECTRICK SWORD OF GULLIVER

Stormbrand, a double-interlaced sword that crackled with electricity belonged to the dashing sky pirate, Gulliver. Nicknamed the Cloud Bandits, he and his crew made their way plying the sordid skies of the Cloudsea in their aeroship, the “Great Muldoon”. Where and how Gulliver came to acquire this voltaic weapon is unknown, but rumors have circulated that he found it lodged into a strangely hardened cluster floating deep along some hidden route through the Cloudsea. Gulliver keeps his favored blade on display behind the Muldoon’s galver, where it acts as the ship’s electrostat, keeping it safe from the leftover residue of the Gods coursing through the clouds. In battle, Stormbrand crackles and sparks with pulses of electrick current, attracting the dark and dangerous tempests that have earned the sword its name.

Unlike other sky pirates, Gulliver has no need to fly black gasbags emblazoned with gruesome visages, as a front of dark and foreboding clouds trail in the Great Muldoon’s wake. It is speculated that Stormbrand carries the enchantment of some powerful boltmage, or even that it was ensorcelled by the exiled Gods themselves.
