SLAGRID THE WOODWITCH'S CAULDRON
A large, cracked and bulbous clay cauldron belonging to the woodwitch, Slagrid, welcomes visitors to Ironbark’s Fen in the Bogwood. Within its heated pot, she concocts all manner of potions and tinctures for pilgrims visiting the Hero’s Grave of Ilyria Ironbark. The pot’s foul contents perpetually give off a thick and pungent miasma, leading some to claim she brews with the corrosive blood of the God of Hell, Ctesiphon, which is said to still pool in the deepest of the Bogwood’s mires. Whatever the case may be, Slagrid’s draughts are known to give as much bite as respite and considerable care should be taken before consumption.
The markings around Slagrid’s pot appear to belong to an ancient form of writing used by the woodclans that once inhabited the Azulwood. Slagrid herself claims descent from these clans, specifically the Leafkin, and declares the massive pot to be a family heirloom, passed down from woodwitch to woodwitch since the days of the Heroes.
