SMALL INSECTS THAT FLICKER ALIGHT AS THE MOON RISES

Moonbugs are tiny flying insects that normally sleep during the daylit hours but when the sun sets for the evening, their ends flicker alive with the rising of the moon. Their luminescent glow sparkles in and out, lighting even the darkest corner of the woods they call home. Two distinct species exist; the northron fae, whose tails emit a spectral green glow, and the sothron sprix, which leave an eerie blue trail in its wake. Rumors persist that yet another species exists, known as the eastron gloam, whose lucent magenta lights are said to haunt the dead roads of Wuestenstad.
