SUGARY WETLAND PLANTS FAVORED BY CHILDREN

Mallowreed is a species of plant that can most commonly be found growing in marshes and wetlands. It is most well known for the sugary, sweet bulb that grows at the end of its long stem. One can almost always find a parcel of bogtail deer munching on the bulbs, or a pack of hungry lads picking the stems clean. Mallowreed bulbs are loved by young and old, and best eaten roasted over a campfire on a cool summer evening.
