Lohengrin the Lyon was one of the legendary Heroes who defeated the Gods of Heaven and Hell. A renowned warrior from the oases that dot the Forsaken Desert, he left the frontier lands to answer the Alchemist’s call. He carried a Godbreaker fashioned in the form of a hammeraxe, the traditional weapon of his people. The “Hero of the Red Sands” as he came to be known, returned to the desert to battle the horrific Droghedel. He would slay the God of Hell, but ultimately succumbed to his wounds and fell in the desert sands. The township of Dust Hill would eventually spring up beneath the shadow of Lohengrin’s Hammer. The descendants of Lohengrin would go on to build one of the great nations of Men and their conflict with the descendants of fellow Hero, Rosmily the Raven, would bring about the first of the Great Schisms. To this day, his legacy is carried on by the warriors of Dust Hill known as the Lyonspryde, who guard the famed hammeraxe and keep secret the location of Droghedel’s imprisonment.
