Ironbark Ilyria

MYTHICAL HEROINE OF THE BLUE WOOD

Ilyria Ironbark was one of the famed Heroes who defeated the Gods of Heaven and Hell. A hardy woodswoman, she left the forests of the Azulwood to answer the Alchemist’s call. She carried a pair of Godbreakers crafted into the shape of two immense hatchets, with which she used to duel the ghastly Ctesiphon. Their battle turned the once lush forest north of the Azulwood into the murky quagmire now known as the Bogwood. After the great beast was sealed among the stars by the Alchemist’s uncanny Magick, she was said to have faded into the wood, never to return. The old woadmakers of Bluegrove claim her spirit haunts the wood to this day, and they often ask for her blessing. A monument was built in her memory in the Bogwood, and a thicket of trees in the Azulwood known as Ilyriascopse were carved in her visage.
