Fenryx was a ferocious God of Hell, bearing the title of Lord Carnifex within the infernal ranks. Striking from the abysmal chasms beneath the Baerhorn, the six-legged beast menaced the Far Northron kingdoms in his war against the Gods of Heaven. When the Alchemist sent out his call, a grizzled old fisherman named Croydon was one of the courageous lot who answered. He then took on the perilous journey to the city of Valvalis to accept the Alchemist’s gift. Armed with a colossal sword, Croydon the Coldheart, as he would come to be known, gathered a force of men at Bern Lake and struck out to destroy the ravenous Fenryx. From the forests of the Bleakwood to the depths of the Gemini Mines, Croydon and his Northron Vanguard battled Fenryx and his legions. The singers tell that with only one arm, and his Godbreaker fallen into the frigid waters of Bern Lake, Croydon fought to the last in a climactic battle high atop the Baerhorn where Fenryx was finally defeated.
