Adler-a7 engine

AN OUTDATED AIRSHIP ENGINE MANUFACTED BY STRAHL-WESSEN

The seventh iteration of the Edler-a aeroship engine manufacted by Strahl-Wessen Aeromacht, the a7 is a rather outdated engine still in use among the most hapless of aero captains. Its meager 600 mana potency is severely underpowered compared to the minimum standard 1800MP engines recommended by the arcanists of the Lothrop Skyfarers’ Guild. Prone to being overloaded during longhaul trips, the a7 was phased out shortly after its introduction and replaced by the 950MP Edler-a8. Strahl-Wessen continues to manufact engines in this line, currently at the 2100MP Edler-a12a, though they are still considered highly substandard by most self-respecting aeropilots.

An Edler-a7 engine once installed in the Hibernity, an antique aero dreg once captained by Tatsujiro, who would eventually rise to the rank of First Admiral in the Baron’s Cove Aero Corps. The obsolete engine is now one of many in use within the haphazard mana bank powering the Dogscratch Workhouse.
