Edlem is a walled mercantile village north of Baron’s Cove. The village is well known for its half-timber architecture as well as the popular September and Company department store. The skies around Edlem are populated by aeroships ferrying cargo and supplies from all around the westron lands.

A renowned pub in Edlem where off-duty guardsmen, traveling merchants and aero pilots mingle together around a pint.

Huge department store owned by the September family. Four floors of merchants sell their wares below four more floors of exclusively high-priced domiciles.
The Hourgate
A stone clocktower along the Ostenwall that connects to the Puddlestep. Every hour, the clock bells ring with a thunderous boom.
South to Septemberplatz
Large stone stairs leading down to Septemberplatz, the main mercantile district of Edlem.
North to Upperhof
Large stone stairs leading up to the central area of Upperhof.
Rudiger’s Smithery
Workshop belonging to the weaponsmith Rudiger. He furnishes all the equipment and arms for the Gate Watch and in return, they ensure the safety of his shop.
Halinard’s Haus
Haus belonging to the aero pilot Halinard. He lives here with his wife Derna and their three sons: Klaus, Kolbert and Derry.
The Quadrata
Central square of Edlem. A magnificent bronze statue of Lord Gilfert, the founder of Edlem stands at its center.
The Kaserne
Three-story barracks where the men of the Gate Watch live. The drillyard outside is a common place to find the Watch’s soldiers (if not at the Bottle Grotto).
The Crosspine Inn
A simple two-story inn, operated by the former aero pilot Violet. Her quarters on the top floor look out at the ships docking at the Aerogate.
Septemberpfount
A fountain placed outside the September and Company store by the company’s sixth chairman, Lord Heinrich. Has ran continuously for 212 years.
Volendam’s Haus
Black sheep of the September family, Volendam, lives in this secluded haus. He keeps to himself, rarely emerging from his shuttered doors.
Sefton Flatz
The least luxurious of the large apartment buildings in Edlem. Its upper floors teeter rather precariously. It has been struck by no less than thirteen aeroships in its time.
South to the Fardee Road
The Fardee Road runs south out of Edlem before turning west to the village of Briah.
Ullister Flatz
The oldest of the flatz in Edlem, named for one of the original founders of the town. Unlike Sefton Flatz, it has not been rebuilt over time and still retains its original shape.
The Sudengate
The smallest of the gatehouses on the Ostenwall. Through its arch, the Fardee Road leads south and then west to the village of Briah.
Dunderstag Flatz
A luxurious four-story tower housing some of the wealthy merchants in Edlem. Most of the fourth floor is taken up by the rooms of Lord Dalton, one of the September heirs.
Our Lady of Wind and Coin
A shrine dedicated to Lady Siena, famed aero pilot and bride of Lord Gilfert.

A tall stone tower on the Ostenwall that serves as a dock for larger aeroships and leads to Gilferti Aerodrome. Wytham’s Tradestop occupies the bottom floor.
East to the Puddlestep
Pathway east to the trail that leads down to the waters of the Noose River.
Northeast to the Gilferti Aerodrome
Edlem’s aerodrome sits just outside the town, on a cliff overlooking the Straits of Edlem.
