FREEFLYING VESSEL OF THE SKIES

One of the few instances of Magick and Science working together, the creation of the first aeroship opened the skies of the world up to exploration. Arcanists, a class of scientists who had integrated Magick incantations into their work rather than relying solely upon their own scientific knowledge, discovered a way to trap mana in a mist-like form and use it as fuel, allowing these great machines to ascend high into the clouds. The first aeroship, the “Thane of Celyn” rose to the skies from the city of Carnaim, and soon Arcanist Guilds and Aerowrights’ Guilds sprung up in every town, city and empire. With that, the age of the aeroship had begun.

Blueprints of the cargo aeroship “Prince Jeramy”, built some 400 years ago for the House of Rasband Shipping Conglomerate of Carnaim. It sailed the skies for nearly three centuries before it was ambushed by pirates of the Asphodel Sharum near the ruins of Codegus.
